Second Chances Kid's Consignment Shop

Spanish program for young children ages 1 through 5 located in Amherst. All the techniques and materials in our program are created considering the children’s general learning needs and language acquisition stages. We use music, puppets, games, toys and stories to get the children excited about learning Spanish.

Class schedule:

PEQUENOS AMIGOS (Little friends)

This class is offered for children from 3 to 5. We will learn a vast amount of Spanish vocabulary that will expand into phrases. Children will learn different games and songs. We’ll read stories to reinforce the vocabulary learned on each session. Class will meet on Tuesdays from 3:15 to 4:15 pm an additional afternoon class is now forming for 5 and 6 year old's please contact Veronica for day and time information.

Pricing and Contact:

The program runs in three terms. Fall, Winter and Spring. Each term has a cost of $110.Families have the option of making two installment payments of $55. Price includes a CD with the songs for that term and a booklet with all the lyrics and the translations in English.  If you wish you can drop in any time for only $10.

Classes will take place at Second Chances Consignment Store located on 7 Pomeroy Lane # 6 Amherst.

Veronica Teaches Spanish at the Amherst Montessori Children's House since 2010

A native of Ecuador, Veronica has been working with young children since 2005. She moved to Amherst in 2010 with her husband Oscar and children Mateo and Martina. In addition to teaching at Amherst Montessori School, Veronica is the Lead teacher for Brazos Abiertos Spanish located in Amherst. Veronica loves swimming and snorkeling in the ocean, and returns to her native Ecuador as often as she can.
