A MUSIC TOGETHER® Class is:

• A community of families sharing songs, instrument play, rhythm chants and movement activities in a relaxed, playful, non-performance-oriented setting.

• Music learned through developmentally appropriate activities that support and respect the unique learning styles of very young children.

• Infants, toddlers and preschoolers participating at their own levels in family-style classes of mixed ages. Special Babies and Intergenerational classes also offered.

• Parents and caregivers contributing to the enrichment of their child’s music environment, regardless of their own musical abilities.

• A new song collection every semester for three years, featuring great arrangements of original and traditional songs in a wide variety of tonalities, meters and cultural styles.

DEBBIE WEYL   The Director of the program, Ms. Weyl  has completed The Advanced Training in Early Childhood Music and has been awarded Certification Level II from Music Together LLC in Princeton, N.J.

A registered Music Together teacher, her background includes over 30 years as a professional musician, songwriter and recording artist. She is a lifelong student of many forms of  dance.

A licensed bodyworker/movement educator for 30 years, she graduated from New York City’s famed High School of  Performing Arts in theatre. She’s also the mother of a 14 year old girl!  Debbie brings great joy and enthusiasm about music and movement to her classes.
